Hello there!
Wild Yoga was born from founder Kelly Rice’s deepening desire to blend the sacred practice of Yoga with the natural beauty of the Hudson Valley. What began as Yoga hikes throughout Orange County, NY and beyond soon grew to inspire Kelly to open her own studio in Tuxedo, NY—a space that offers both in-studio classes and nature-based Yoga practices, including guided hikes. Her mission is to build community and inspire others to connect inward, as well as with the natural world around us.

Kelly Rice was first introduced to the practice of Yoga in a high school gym class many years ago. She later became a regular practitioner in 2013. All she knew in the beginning of her Yoga journey was that she felt physically better, calmer in the mind, and was able to sleep really well after taking a class! After several years of practicing Yoga, Kelly decided to deepen her understanding of the Yoga practice by signing up for a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training through The Body Art Barn in Blooming Grove, NY, under the mentorship of Michelle Dawson.
Kelly excitedly began teaching at the Barn, and soon after joined the Yoga High community, located in Cornwall and Highland Falls, owned by Delia Kelly. She was able to learn and grow in her role as teacher under the amazing guidance of both Michelle and Delia, as well as all of the highly skilled teachers at both studios.
Aside from practicing Yoga, Kelly is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, hiker, dog-mom, tea drinker, and plant lover. She loves to spend time with her friends, take long walks with her dog, sing karaoke, and travel.
